What builds a family into God’s plan and relationship

Men ought always to pray. Luke 18 : 1

I will that men pray every where. 1Timothy. 2 : 1

I have a question for you. The question is very small and it is short. DO YOU PRAY? I have felt asking everyone both followers of Jesus, believers in Jesus and those that called themselves Christians. This question is not that hard. You can answer. Whether you go for public service on Sundays where you fellowship from or not. Your relationship knows if you pray or not. Some say they pray in private which is not bad but your experience knows. It is a matter is between you, yourself and God.

Please don’t turn away from my question. Some people may say my question is too close, and that is normal. Listen to me for a few minutes, and I will show you why I have asked this question about prayers.

It’s was last year before the birth of my daughter. I and my wife thought we are ok with God and our relationship even if we don’t keep a constant relationship of prayers with God in our house. We could go out for the harvest and never stoped loving the work God have entrusted me and my family for fishing men to his kingdom. We both felt we are well blessed and very much so. Which was not !!! We lacked (a continuous faith).

We never learnt one thing.

One way to understand God’s closest protection and relationship, I never thought it can be the best weapon to help my family stand and be well protected under the favor of his mercy; Until it was one day that God made me realize that I need to be closer to him. This is where the lord God put me in to a big challenge/test/ situation. My wife developed a C -section. During the seventh month of her pregnancy. The situation was not really ok . My wife could go through too much pain when her baby turned around or when the baby kicked her in the womb. This happened because the baby was not in a right position inside her mother.

This created many weaknesses, pain, and stress on my wife. She could cry in pain while praying. We all wondered and asked God why. A time when my wife was in a deep pain; and she tried to ask me that why do I pray and heal others but nothing happens when prayers are made on her. She wondered why does she not see any signs of healing on her rapid pain? This never left me settled or sleep all night. I kept on asking my self, why God? ”Why is all this happening?” God answered me: ”I wanted your attention my son”. I felt the voice telling me, I am not happy with you. I am not happy because you are focusing in your acts but not your ways. The voice talked to me twice: ”Look at my people Gerald”. This was by the time my wife came to me asking for baptism.

I started to look for a way to give God my time, but I had no idea on how to start, or set my self to start listening from him. Listening from God. I remember it was after supper when I was getting into bed time. I said to God. I need to listen to you, I need to talk to you, and tell you all what is in my heart. I spoke silently, ”God tell me where I have gone wrong and how I can make right of this situation for me and my family.” By his grace, we had a visit from a body of the kingdom sister maayke from the Nederlands. It was a message and an answer to the prayers. My wife got baptized and felt with joy when she got out of the water just like it was said in the Bible YOU NEED TO TALK TO GOD.

The lord showed me a sign of healing to my wife on the next day where my wife couldn’t feel any single pain. I was happy and thanked God for the love for me. The voice came over saying silently: ”DO YOU THINK IT ALL OK GERALD?”
I questioned my self before saying anything out loud. “Why and what could this be? I need your time.” The voice came in again. .. From that day, that is when I started doing everything while praying in my heart, seeking on how I can talk to God, talking to God through different language even if I was washing clothes. I spoke to him like a farmer sowing the seed in the garden. The lord has been speaking to my heart about “a-self prayers” a self talk with Him”. I want to ask you this question! Have you ever felt like your heart tells you to commit yourself in daily self prayers? I don’t mean joining hands together or going in a group for prayers. I mean You! Having a personal talk with Him. YOU NEED TO TALK TO God!

This did me so good and big to me and my family. This was not to hear God’s voice only, but it built a big strength and a closer connection between me and our Heavenly Father. It brought healing to my family, his plans, and also made my wife go through a saved delivery, during giving birth. Remember, my baby was in a “C- SECTION”, the only other option was to operate her but God with his much love of his mercy helped me through this. Different families and friends in Uganda and outside Uganda who became so loving to my family spiritually and financially entrusting me for certain reasons of our Heavenly Will.

Most importantly God came more close to make it easier for me to listen from him. This has taught me never stop me talking to him while doing my own things. The some you can try this out. Talking to God while out walking your dog. In your coffee, office, workshop .Or in your free time. “YOU NEED TO TALK TO GOD”

Challenges is a spiritual stimulant for all Christians weather they are Veterans, believers or new in the faith. YOU NEED TO TALK TO GOD

I asK whether you pray , because prayers is absolutely needful to a man’s salvation.

I say , absolutely needful ,YOU NEED TO TALK TO GOD I am saying advisedly . I am not speaking now of infants or idiots. I am not settling the state of the heathen . I know that where little will be required. I speak especially of those who call themselves Christians in a land like our own. And of such I say , no man or woman can expect to be saved who does not pray .

I hold salvation by grace as strongly as any one . I would gladly offer a free and full pardon to the greatest dinner that ever lived . I would not hesitate to stand by his dying bed, ad I say , Believe on the lord Jesus Christ even now ; repent of your sins be baptized , and you shall be saved”. But that a man can have salvation without asking for it, I can not see in the Bible . That a man will receive pardon of his sins, who will come up his heart inwardly, and say, “ lord Jesus , give it to me,” this I can not find. Can not find that nobody Will be saved without prayers and seeking God’s great commission.

It is not absolutely beautiful to salvation that a man should read the Bible . A man may have no learning, or be blind, and yet have Christ in this heart. It is not absolutely needful that a man should hear public preaching of the gospel. He may live where the gospel is not preached. Or he may be bedridden, or deaf. But the same thing can not be said about prayer. God finds that person. His revolution move in and the Holy Spirit take charge to led that blind, man or women un educated ,guy or youth old and young. Through his walk to salvation.YOU NEED TO TALK TO GOD

It is absolutely needful to salvation that a man should pray. There is no royal road either to health or learning. Princes and kings, poor men and peasants, all alike must attend to the wants of their own bodies and their own minds , No man can get the alphabet learned for him by another. All these are things which everybody must do for himself, or they will not be done at all . YOU NEED TO TALK TO GOD

Just as it is with the mind and body , so it is with the soul. There are certain things absolutely needful to the soul’s health and well being . Each must attend to this thing for himself . And for himself each must speak to God and pray repent be baptized.You must do it for yourself , for by nobody else can be done. family, and friends in the kingdom will help intercede for you, encourage you in your salvation walk YOU NEED TO TALK TO GOD

To be prayer-less is to be without God, without Christ, without grace, without hope, and without heaven. It is to be on the road to hell. Now can you wonder that I ask the question, DO YOU PRAY? God answered my prayers and now I see his happiness at my home and in the life of My wife. She is so prayerful stronger and courageous

Prayers is absolutely needful To a man salvation

This is one of the common marks of all the elect of God, “they cry unto him day and night” ( Luke 18:1 ) .

The Holy Spirit, who makes them new creatures , works in them the feeling of adoption, makes them cry, “ABBA father” ( Rom8:15) . The lord Jesus , when he quickens them, gives them a voice and a tongue, and says to them , be dump no more . God have not dump us or any children . It is as much a part of their new nature to pray, as it is of a child to cry . They see their need of mercy and grace . They feel theirs emptiness and weakness. They can not do otherwise than they do. They must pray.

YOU NEED TO TALK TO GOD,. I have looked carefully over the lives of God’s saints in the Bible . I can not find one of those history much is told us from Genesis to Revolution, who was not a man of prayers. I find it missioned as a characteristic of godly, that “they that call on the father” ( 1 Peter 1:17 ) or the name of the lord Jesus Christ. ( 1cor 1:2 ) . Recorded as a characteristic of the wicked is the fact that “they call not upon the lord” ( psm 14:4 ) I have read the lives of many Christians who have been on earth since the Bible days. Some of them , I see , where rich and some poor. Somewhere learned, and some unlearned , I see , they all had in common. THEY HAVE ALL BEEN MEN OF PRAYERS. You need to pray . @ loketogeraldo
